Flow is a mental state of intense focus and involvement in an activity. The perfect place for me to find my flow state is the shower. The sound of the water drowns out noise; I always enjoy this moment of privacy and unbridled thinking.
The repetitive nature of showering frees up my mind to wander and explore different thoughts and ideas, and often leads to unexpected insights and creative breakthroughs. But this may not be true for everyone.
Do you know how to activate your flow state? It's a good idea to understand your personal triggers.
When you're in flow, distractions fade away, and you become more productive and deeply immersed in the creative process. This heightened focus allows you to work more efficiently and fluidly.
If you aren't sure how to find your flow, you can start by creating a distraction-free environment where you can focus on your breathing, your thoughts, and the present moment. Try doodling or working on a craft project. Find your happy place where you can relax with your thoughts. Practice regularly.
